Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Houston

The room was clean and the neighbors were quiet. The price was right. The room was small but good enough for a couple of nights. The bathroom was roomy. There was a nice window seat and a desk.

I've been staying there a month now. Great location,great staff and breakfast every morning at 6. It's quiet and right across from Nasa Space Center several places to go eat or take a family definitely would recommend this place.

Bed comfortable and staff friendly. Parking lot is decently lit. Location is perfect if you want to walk over to the space center. Walkable distance to breakfast restaurant or a pho place. Area didn’t feel shady. That said, the hotel is very old and you can see that evidence everywhere. There were roaches behind the ice machine, rusting metal in the room, matted carpet (our room still had a wad of gum), stains on the desk chair… All of our towels had strands of hair on them (I plucked them off). I didn’t use the face towels because one had a suspicious brown stain on it. :( Breakfast offering is very simple, so not for ppl who need a heartier meal. Mini muffins, 2 cereals, yogurt, and waffle machine. Then coffee and orange juice. No eggs or meat of any kind.

This is one of the nicest hotels around. Definitely the very best value we have found. The room was very clean with a wonderful fresh scent. Beds and pillows very comfortable. Stayed 2 nights and were provided clean towels for the second day !! Highly recommend stay at this location.

Budget motel, with the least offered that could pass for a continental breakfast, but the maids made it work. Always had super clean sheets & towels, well made beds, vacuumed carpets, kind and thoughtful. Not their fault the facility showed its age. However, the a/c always blew cold air on the sweltering summer days and the unit wasn't too loud. 5 stars for the ac & maid service. 2 or 3 for the rest.

Check in was easy. Staff was pleasant. The Hotel is outdated, but cheap. You're getting what you pay for. Elevators were not working. Room had been cleaned, sheets smelled good, saw no bugs, tv and other appliances worked, provided blow dryer worked well, air was cold and shower was hot. Room and carpet did feel a little damp. Breakfast consisted of cereal, waffles, muffins and a few other snack type food. They had juices, milk and coffee also. Small, but clean pool.

Absolutely gross, old and poorly maintained (except for the swimming pool.) I met Bobby the cockroach in the bathroom, decided to lock him in the trash for the duration of my shower (I set him free when we checked out.) you will probably see his family members all around the hotel. Table, chairs etc everything is dirty and/or broken. So why do I give it 4 stars? Well ladies and gentlemen, we paid 65 USD for a night for an hotel right across the space center. Paying that price you cannot have high standards, so for the price, it is a fairly good deal. They even kept our luggage for the day. Pros : - cheap - Luggage storage - breakfast included - Wildlife safari / insect sanctuary - amazing location - No bed bugs!!! Cons : - dirty - Everything is old, stained, broken - Gotta love insects If you are in room 103, please take care of Bobby !
